St. Leonard's House

Come run with the Back on My Feet Team at St. Leonard's House! Back on My Feet works with the tremendous program at St. Leonard's, which is located at 2100 W. Warren Blvd. [Map here].

FACILITY INFORMATION

St. Leonard’s House provides interim housing and supportive services for formerly incarcerated men returning to the community from Illinois prisons. Program participants come to St. Leonard’s House to find a safe environment in which they can develop skills to rebuild their lives and reshape their futures.

"The ideology of Back on My Feet and the principles espoused by St. Leonard’s are very similar," said Wylie Belasik, vice president of programming for Back on My Feet. "It's a tremendous combination of support for men who are eager for the opportunity to get a second chance."

St. Leonard’s House, which opened its doors in 1954, occupies two buildings on Chicago’s Near West Side. Residents’ rooms range from six-person occupancy to single-resident rooms. On-site amenities include a weight room, recreation rooms, a library, a laundry room with free washers and dryers and a chapel. Three meals are served in the St. Leonard’s House dining room each day. Special events, holiday activities and large group gatherings are also held in the dining room.
