Intern with Back on My Feet

Back on My Feet Chicago Intern

We are seeking an intern to assist our staff with various programming, communications and community relations activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain exposure to working with a non-profit and join an enthusiastic and collaborative culture!

Job Responsibilities
The intern’s duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Providing support to Back on My Feet’s executive director, program director and communications director on various research, writing and community outreach projects
• Performing media outreach and research on behalf of the chapter
• Identifying opportunities for Back on My Feet Chicago to partner with local businesses to allow the organization to post flyers at their business, donate auction items for the organization’s annual bash, etc.
• Assisting with volunteer and FundRacer (i.e., charity runner) recruitment
• Updating chapter website
• Writing blog posts
• Assisting program director with data entry and input

Hours
15-20 hours per week at the Back on My Feet Chicago office, 1255 West North Avenue. Days/times flexible.
